Ever wanted a different Metronome Sound in Ableton Live?

Here is a free collection of the metronome sounds from 7 Major DAWs and even one legendary sampler

It sounds like you may have your main output somehow routed to your input and you are recording your click track. If you can monitor the source of the input at your a/d converter (post mixer or what have you) you should hear the sound you are wanting to record (ie: no click) if at that stage in your signal routing you are hearing click you'll need to figure out another way to route it. I've looked elsewhere around the internet and couldn't seem to find any features in ableton that allow the click track to be exported in the recording. I have already mucked around drawing out midi tracks with the click.wav, but it's such an incredibly tedious process, and I don't want to spend like 8 hours doing it for all my tracks.

Installation

Copy (COPY the file don’t MOVe the file) “MetrnomeUp.wav” and “Metronome.wav” files from the selected DAW folder to:

Mac:

– Locate the Ableton Live app on your computer.

– Right Click and choose “Show Package Contents” and copy the samples here:

Contents/App-Resources/Misc/Metronome/Samples/

Overwrite when prompt.

If you run into any problems you can copy the metronome sounds from the Ableton Live (DEFAULT) folder to reset the metronome sound to Live’s factory default.
